What is Amped Church?
At Amped Church, we create a custom iPhone and Android app for your church that empowers your congregation to get more connected to each other and grow closer to Jesus. With our App Manager, you can add and manage sermons, blog feeds, groups, events, and more in one central place, which are instantly updated to your iPhone and Android Apps. This is an invaluable tool for your congregation to grow in Jesus and become an active member of your church.
In a world full of technology designed to keep us “always on,” it is imperative to understand that “always on” doesn’t necessarily mean “always connected.” When it comes to being a Christian, technology can be a huge distraction, crutch, or even an excuse to skip church entirely.
At Amped Church, our mission is simple: we want to see lives changed by Jesus. We believe that the best way to do this is by connecting people to the local church through technology while cultivating real relationships so that people can grow together in their faith.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17
What Makes Amped Church Unique?
At Amped Church, our primary goal was to create an app that integrated both great design (for ease of use) and an awesome feature set (sermons, blogs, groups, events, and so on). With only 5% of churches in America being larger than 800 people, we sought to create a product that was robust enough to facilitate the needs of mega-churches, but cost efficient enough for even the smallest church’s budget.
Amazing design and a compelling feature set are the two crucial components for a successful app. If the app looks great, but can’t do anything, nobody will be able to use it. Inversely, if the app has great features, but is poorly designed, nobody will want to use it.
Amped Church uniquely solves this problem by combining a great design that has been tested and proven successful with men and women of all ages, with a truly unique feature set specifically designed to provide the average user with a wide variety of opportunities to get plugged into the church body and start living out their faith.
