During times of growth

During times of growth
I am extremely excited about all The Lord is doing in our midst at The Grove Church.  I believe we are experiencing a move of God in our community that includes salvations, restoration, healing, and growth in both numbers and maturity.  I also believe that we are just beginning to experience what God plans on doing in and through The Grove Church.  With this growth and the abundance of His presence in our services I would like to communicate a few things that are on my heart, as well as, what we are committed to at The Grove.
The Presence of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily. (Acts 1:8, John 14:16-17, John 16:7-13)
Biblical orderly worship
We believe that the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and practice and gives us clear instructions on how to run our services.  As the pastor of The Grove Church I am confident that the presence of Holy Spirit living in me and our leadership will equip us to discern what is and what is not of God.  We believe that everything that takes place in our services should be for the building up of the church and not to divide or cause confusion.  As it says in 1 Corinthians “God is not a God of disorder but of peace”.
(2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 1 Corinthians 14)
Protecting our environment
Our vision from our conception is to be a reproducing church that reaches others.  We are passionate about reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ.  We are committed to continuing to create environments that are most conducive for people to respond to the Gospel.  We want everything that we do to be an attraction to Christ and not a distraction.
Thank you for taking the time to read these thoughts and I pray that you are encouraged by where we are heading as a church.  We have exciting days ahead of us and are believing to be part of a mighty work of God.

We have a great opportunity to take a deeper look into the role of the Holy Spirit in each of our lives throughout the month of October as we do a four week study titled “Ghost”.  I strongly encourage you to plan on joining us for this time and continue to grow in your journey with Jesus.
In Christ,
Brad
